Image is ALL!
I only had my cell phone, so these are a bit blurry...
I saw this fellow at the market today. He was just sitting there, stoic and impressive and he KNEW it...
He barked at the car parked next to him, but merely turned his head and looked at me..
I was ALMOST intimidated!
Ok...
I admit it...
I was at least impressed at the coolness of it..

Hey! Farty-Fart-FART!!!!
:)
Haven't fallen off the face of the earth, although it FEELS that way. A co-worker's mother died last week and we all had to scramble (12 hr days) to cover for her. On top of that it was "Move-In" for the students. My sleep schedule has been screwed beyond belief. I'm going in for that sleep-thing test on Sept 7th.
As for the house, I made an appt with a financial counselor and after really going over my finances (YIKES!) she pointed out that I'll be in a better position in about 6months if I really work on paying of my cc debt.
I was approved for $100,000 but there wasn't much out here that I'd voluntarily live in for that price. The "dream" house went under contract and sold before my mortgage guy got his act together. Too many 'wait' signs, so that's what I'm gonna do.
I'm going on a ME retreat the third week of Sept (If I can get my supervisor to get off their butt and find coverage) - 5 days in the ozarks with no phone, tv, a fireplace and my down blankie. Life is good.
Hugs!

"Bloom where you're planted" my parents said. I came up Kudzu.
:)
PS!
One of William Randolph Hearst's homes is for sale here, about an hour from me. Ya'll wanna chip in and buy it?
I think I can scrape up about fifty bucks.
I can see Bonho by the pool on a chaise, in vintage Raybans and dotted swiss.

If that won't come up, the 'long' way to view it is to go to "craigslist St. Louis" via google, go to real estate and on the real estate search, just type in "Pickles Ford Road"
Amazing house. Really not a bad price.
St.J - again
Is it the hunting lodge? Cheaper than my house.
Yep! That's the one. That really and truly is my dream house. No one would ever be allowed inside unless they agreed to only be clad in pjamas and fuzzy slippers.
Sort of a Playboy Mansion, only everyone in plaid flannel and sleep shirts.
